Another release in a long line of wildly popular football (soccer) games for PC, FIFA 07 brings with it plenty of new features compared to previous editions of the game. First and most importantly, this is the first edition of FIFA where you can play games online. With FIFA 07, you can play against other players, challenge your friends, or play in a league that mirrors its real counterpart, where each week you’ll play the same games your favorite team played.
In the 2007 edition, you will play as a trainer where your job is to win games, select players, prevent injuries and treat them with whatever you have available when there’s a selection call. You will have to train over the course of the season in order to win leagues, the Euro Cup, etc. The more matches you win, the more you’ll advance in your virtual league.
Aside from the all new online mode, FIFA 07 introduces a new camera that lets you see shots from different points of view, and a new way to control passes: long, short and medium passes. If you like soccer/football and want to play online FIFA 07 is a good option, although later editions have significantly improved graphics.
